Trace Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Version 1 · An earlier version, in force from October 22, 2026
Effective date: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how MySupplements LLC ("we") handles consumer health data about people in Washington and Nevada. Our general Privacy Policy has the full details and applies too.

Consumer health data we collect, and why

Most of what you log in Trace stays on your phone, and we don't receive it. We collect consumer health data only when you sign in and use a feature that needs it, and only to provide that feature:
Food and nutrition
Examples
Meal photos, descriptions, foods and amounts
Why
To identify foods and estimate nutrients
Supplements and medications
Examples
Names of products you look up
Why
To find the right product and its label
Inferences
Examples
Nutrient estimates made from the above
Why
Returned to you in the app
We also process your account details (such as your email address) to sign you in. That isn't consumer health data on its own.

Where it comes from

From you, through the app. We don't buy health data or receive it from data brokers.

What we share, and with whom

We share consumer health data only with service providers (processors) that act on our instructions to run these features:
•
Hosting and accounts: a cloud hosting provider in the United States.
•
AI analysis: AI service providers that identify foods and amounts and look up products.
•
Photo and meal checks: a service provider that checks meal photos and descriptions.
The kinds of providers we use are on our Service providers page, and we'll tell you which providers received your data if you ask. We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data.
We share it with others only with your separate consent, or where the law requires.
We don't sell consumer health data.
We ask for your consent in the app before collecting consumer health data for a feature. Consent to share is asked separately from consent to collect, except for sharing with service providers to deliver what you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings › Privacy. Withdrawing doesn't affect features that work only on your phone.

Your rights

You can:
•
confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data;
•
access that data;
•
get a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we've shared it, with their contact details;
•
withdraw consent;
•
have it deleted, which we pass on to our service providers.
To use these rights, email support@mysupplementsapp.com, or delete your account in the app (Settings › Your account › Delete account). We'll verify your request and respond within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days when reasonably necessary.
If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line within 30 days. We'll answer within 45 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General (https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint) or the Nevada Attorney General (https://ag.nv.gov/Complaints/File_Complaint/).
